This course is a “Must Play”, while you are in Thailand. It was home to the 2009 US LGPA Tour and in 2015 the Thailand Open. This course plays as difficult as any of the golf courses in Thailand.

The 27-hole layout has been laid out through the rolling terrain, with panoramic views of both Pattaya Beach and the Laem Chabang Port. This former tapioca and pineapple plantation were transformed into the stunning Golf Course it is today. This property has geological and natural characteristics, which included rugged ravines cutting through its Paspalum grassed fairways, and the mature trees lining the fairways. The Plantation Course also features substantial elevation changes that result in stunning sea views of Gulf of Thailand, which are around 11 kilometres away.

The course is made up of one difficult hole after another. Including long carries, blind second shots, elevated greens, uneven fairways, teared greens, huge high-lipped bunkers, with shaved fringes on every hole which makes it a challenge to golfers of all levels. The distance from the tees, depending on which of the Three nines are played, is a long 7,404 or 7,495 yards, which makes this great course one of the longest in Thailand.

Two nines, the 3,759-yard par-36 Tapioca and the 3,645-yard par-36 Pineapple, feature Asia’s first triple green. The Tapioca’s seventh and the Pineapple’s fourth and ninth holes play to a single green measuring more than 20,000 square feet (1,916 square meters) which is a focal point at this golf course. The green’s undulating putting surface is continuous and is divided into three distinct layers by the large swales. Hole number Seven on the Tapioca is a par-3 of 178 yards, while numbers Four and Nine on the Pineapple are lengthy par-4s of 490 and 469 yards..

The Sugar Cane Course, third nine, on this property,  plays out to the left of the driving range. The par-36, 3,736-yard layout is regarded as the best of the 3 nines and includes the spectacular Fifth hole. A par-5 with over 28 bunkers, is the Plantation Course’s signature hole. It plays long uphill with a split fairway. The right-side fairway is in play, but makes for a very difficult and long carry to have any chance to reaching the green in regulation. Drive down  the left part of the fairway and to take advantage of the much simpler approach, which gives a good chance for par.

The practice facilities at the course, include a grass driving range complete with pitching area, sand bunker, with a large practice putting green. Golf Carts are compulsory on this up-and-down hilly tract. It is important to point out, that the carts are restricted to cart path only, except on the two-fairway Sugar Cane fifth hole. This applies to everyone who plays the courses.

The magnificent  designed clubhouse with excellent restaurant and lounge area overlook both the triple green and Pattaya City, which makes for a great place to reflect on your game, and think about a return visit.
